eth1cal operates on an invite-only model. Confidentiality is part of the product. This policy explains the few data we collect and how we handle them.

1. Data we collect

The only personal data collected on this site is the email address voluntarily provided in the invite validation form at /en/contact/.

We also collect aggregated and anonymous technical data (no cookies, no fingerprint, no PII): visit count, preferred languages, approximate countries of origin. This data does not allow identifying you.

2. What we use this data for

  • Verify if the provided email is on our private referral list.
  • Notify our internal team (via private Slack channel) about invite requests.
  • Initiate direct contact with approved referrals, when applicable.

We do not use your email for marketing, newsletter, remarketing or sharing with third parties.

3. Where data is stored

The allowlist of approved emails is stored in Cloudflare KV (geo-replicated key-value store). Notifications go directly to internal Slack. No data is sent to third-party marketing, CRM or analytics services.

4. How long we keep data

Provided emails not on our allowlist are discarded after the internal notification is dispatched. Emails on the allowlist are kept while the commercial relationship is active, and removed upon request.

5. Mutual NDA

In any commercial engagement, we sign a mutual NDA: you cannot mention eth1cal without our prior authorization, and we cannot mention you without your prior authorization. Confidentiality is a contractual clause.

6. Your rights (LGPD/GDPR)

  • Request confirmation of data processing.
  • Request access to your data.
  • Request correction of incomplete or outdated data.
  • Request anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data.
  • Request data portability.
  • Request deletion of processed data.
  • Revoke consent.

7. Cookies

This site does not use tracking cookies, fingerprint, pixel or any behavioral analysis mechanism. Only strictly necessary cookies for site operation (language preference).

8. Changes to this policy

Updates to this policy will be recorded with the date above. We do not notify by email — the site is the canonical channel.
